Mousehall

Mousehall is a family-run distillery and winery located between Mayfield and Wadhurst in East Sussex—nestled within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Founded by owners of Jordan Wine Estate in South Africa—Mousehall was revived from a neglected estate into a thriving hub for artisanal spirits and wines. The distillery launched its first spirit in 2022 and has since earned multiple accolades for its sustainably produced products. Its Tidebrook wine range includes still wines such as Six Petals Rosé, Medieval Monk Pinot Gris, Staddle Stone Chardonnay and The Tipping Point Pinot Noir—with new vintages released annually and the first sparkling wine launching next year. Meanwhile, visitors can book guided tasting experiences—including the Tidebrook Wine Experience and Mousehall Spirits Experience—which offer immersive tours and curated tastings. The estate also offers luxury accommodation in Mousehall Oast—making it a countryside retreat for wine and spirit enthusiasts.
