The Surrey Copper Distillery is a small artisan distillery producing a range of exceptional spirits. All of our spirits brands have a literary theme, Copperfield Gins (Dickens), Sanditon Rum (Jane Austin) and Mad Hatter Vodka (Lewis Carrol). 

Our gins are developed from a recipe that dates back to 1757 and was found in the British Library. A copy of the book that it was published in was then found in a bookstore between a full set of Charles Dickens, hence the name Copperfield. 

I took over the distillery just over two years ago to relaunch it and have subsequently launched Mad Hatter Vodka, which this year won a Great Taste award and we have just released a limited edition cask aged rum that tastes quite divine!
